PARALLEL COMBINATION OF RESISTORS
AIM- To verify laws of parallel combination.
REQUIREMENT- D.C Power Supply, Voltmeter , Ohmmeter, millimeter, different value of resistor.
INTRODUCTION- When two more resistors are connected in parallel effective resistance of the combination is given below 1/RT=1/R1+1/R2+1/R3.
Different current flows through different resistance total current is sum of current through individual unit & potentiometer different across each resistor is same smallest current through is the largest resistor.
If 1 resistor is 0 other is as good as not being present in the combination total resistor is smaller than the least resistance in the network
PROCEDURE- To verify the law of parallel combination of resistor.
CONCLUSION- From reading condition is drawn about the relative, between voltage meter current & resistor.

PROCEDURE- To verify the law of parallel combination of resistor.
- The circuit connected as shown in figure
- Total resistance of three resistor R1,R2,R3
- Multimeter are connected in series with resistance R1,R2,R3 powersupply separately.
- A voltmeter is connected across each resistor.
- Power Supply is adjusted to 3v,6v,10v each time multimeter reading.
- Calculate RT measure R1 calculate I1,I2, I3 & verify it.
- Get minimum readings
CONCLUSION- From reading condition is drawn about the relative, between voltage meter current & resistor.
