Series Resistance Circuit
AIM - To study series resistance circuit.
APPARATUS – Different type of resistors, multimeter and power supply.
INTRODUCTION – Resistors when connected in series the total resistance is equal to the sum of the individual resistances in the circuit, current is same through each resistor, but voltage drops across each resistor, is different.
PRECAUTIONS:–
Switch the multimeter to measured voltage current and Ohmic connected the current meter in series and voltage meter in parallel.
PROCEDURE:–
CONCLUSION:–
In series resistors circuits’ current is same through each resistor but the voltage drops across each resistor is different same resistor circuit.

- Turn HT controls of D.C. power supply to zero level
- Connect the circuits as shown in figure.
- Measured the control resistors with the help of multimeter.
- Measured volt is drop & current following though each resistor.
CONCLUSION:–
In series resistors circuits’ current is same through each resistor but the voltage drops across each resistor is different same resistor circuit.
