Water Level Indicator
Aim:- To study Water Level Indicator
Req:- Transistor, BC109,SL100,Resistor:-47Kohms,x2,Varaible Resistor-10K,470ohms,Diode-1N4001,+12VDC Electromagntic Relay,LED,DC Power Supply Multimeter.
Introduction:-The Liquild Level Indicator can be used as water level indicator as well as to control the water pump water switching this have advantage of saving of unnessary wastage of water electricity saving power Consumption and Void Unnecessary damage.
Transistor Q1 & Q2 are connected in casecade configation (darlinton pair)Resistor R1 & R2 potmeter R1 Provide voltage divider base bias to the transistor Q1, Which coupled directly to the Q2 electrode B is at bottom and electrode A at the required level . A relay is connected with supply source and collector of Q2 as the load the diode D1 is connected across the relay coil for kick back protection.
When the water level is lower than the level of electrode A the Q1 cannot conduct as it back circuit is incomplete. Hence Q1 also OFF as the common connection of relay is noramally close state the led remain OFF.
Procedure:-
a) Connected the circuit as showing in the figure.
b)Observe the voltage and to condition when level is not achieved of the two transistor of the base ,Emitter, & collector.
Conculsion:- In this partical we indicate the water level and measure the voltage as transistor base emitter as collector at each and note the observation.
