UJT Trigger SCR Control Circuit
Aim: To Study Trigger SCR Control Circuit.
Requirement: UJT (2N2646) , Few resistor(3.3K,10K,1K,560E)Cap (68KPF), LED, SCR(SN102), Power Supply And Multimeter, Etc.
Introduction:
In many application the UJT can we in this the UJT also we used for the trigger the SCR and it controls to the circuit . It's circuit also a Same as Relaxition Osc. the load may be a Lamp , Heater or Like an LED or may any device wearing.
Working Of the circuit
As the voltage apply to the circuit the capcaitor (C) can charge through the Vbb and through the resistor (R1 & R2) . During the charing period the Vcc across the cap. raise an explantion manner until it reduces the Vp this intent. the UJT fired at the capcaitor (C) is charged from the emitter to base one that time the switch is ON and it trigger the SCR can fire and current flow through the LED and it is ON. As the cycle can repeated when we get the triggere to SCR cycle can repeated when we get the trigger to SCR we can control the load current.
The Cycle is repeated caontinously the generation a sawtooth wave across R1 and R2 are connected in series and V2 provide split wave from when the UJT fired the sudden such of current through Vb a course a drop across R1 which produces +Ve going space also at a time of fall -Ve.
The Charging Time Constant = T=RC.
Procedures:
1) Connect the circuit as shown in the figure and apply the voltage
2) Observe the wave from a Oscilloscope at different level and note the charging time.
3)Discharging time / Div or Cap.
Plot The Wave Form On the Graph Paper
Conclusion: We Observe the wave from on the oscilloscope at the emitter wave from the base and base wave from and draw on the graph as well as
fired the charging time and discharging time of cap.
